Built Different.
Built on Purpose.

"Even the biggest tree started from the smallest seed."

— Spencer Green

Teach One.

Reach One.

This isn't just about building apps. It's about proving something — to myself, and to everyone who looks like me, who came up like me, who was told the window had closed.

I am a self-taught developer who didn't start writing code until after 20 years in another career. No bootcamp. No CS degree. No shortcuts. Just a decision — and then the daily discipline to back it up. 8 to 15 hours a day on these projects. Not because anyone is watching. Because that's what the work requires.

If you're reading this and you think it's too late for you — it's not. The seed doesn't care how long it sat in the ground before it broke through. It just needs the right conditions and the will to grow.

That's the mission. Teach one. Reach one. Build something real and show others the way.

Ubuntu

"I am because we are."

Ubuntu is an ancient African philosophy — the belief that no person rises alone. That every achievement is built on the shoulders of those who came before, and carries a responsibility to lift those who come after.

Every product I build carries that weight. Every line of code is dedicated to three generations who worked so I could be here — and to the next generation watching to see if it's possible.

It's possible.

Self-taught.
Self-made.
Still building.

After 20+ years in property management — managing vendors, budgets, and operations — I taught myself Python, Flask, JavaScript, and cloud deployment. I went from managing other people's spaces to building my own digital ones.

They said reinvention was impossible at this stage. I said watch.

On any given day I put in 8 to 15 hours on these projects. Not because anyone is watching — but because that's what it takes to go from zero to shipped. That's not hustle culture. That's legacy culture.

The Decision

The Pivot to Tech

Started from absolute zero — no bootcamp, no degree. Learned Python, Flask, JavaScript, and cloud deployment through persistence and late nights. Built three portfolio apps from scratch to prove the concept to myself first.

2024

Green Zone Defence

Launched a browser-based tower defense game with a global leaderboard, mobile touch controls, and user authentication. Deployed and live worldwide.

2025 – 2026

Lee's Legacy

Built a full barber scheduling SaaS — double booking prevention, Stripe Connect payments, Google OAuth, AI hair growth tracking, and client discovery. Named in honor of Richard Lee Green Sr. Currently in beta.

March 2026

Green Eye Creative

Formalized the studio. Registered the domain. Built and launched the brand. First client signed. The seed has broken ground — and there is a lot more sky to reach.

I didn't start from nothing.
I started from legacy.

Every product I build carries their names forward. Every line of code is a tribute.

Leon Nathaniel Green

Tuskegee · His Story Still Unfolding

Attended Tuskegee University — one of America's most historic institutions — at a time when the doors of possibility were barely open to men who looked like him. His story is still being uncovered, but his presence there is woven into everything I do.

Richard Lee Green Sr.

Lee's Barbershop · Charleston, SC · 50+ Years

Ran his barbershop for over half a century — welcoming everyone through his doors when others wouldn't. Lee's Legacy, the app, carries his name and his spirit. Built for the barbers still doing what he did — showing up every day for their community.

The Bahamas & Charleston

Where the bloodline begins

My great-grandfather traveled back and forth between the Bahamas and Charleston, SC — working as a day laborer, managing two homes, and doing whatever the work required. He crossed waters so his children would not have to. That work ethic — that refusal to quit — runs all the way through to right now.

The tree is still growing.

Lee's Legacy is in beta. Green Eye Creative is taking clients. Portugal is on the horizon.

And if you're out there grinding alone, wondering if it's possible — pull up a chair. Watch what happens next. Teach one. Reach one.
